The decor is how this club performs exceptionally well. The title Electric Playground is apt – it’s colourful and eclectic. Lasers sweep within the neon lit bar, and screens within the walls play a visualiser all around the club. It’s awesome and well ventilated for that small building. The smoke machines and eco-friendly lasers fill the club and make up a fun party feel.
The little area is well organized for any club. There’s a rectangle using the DJ on the elevated platform in the centre looking over the party area. Outdoors the terrace runs lower along side it from the building with levels to bop and sit. There is a DJ playing outdoors to help keep the climate from the club going outdoors. Inside, it’s a simple rectangle using the bar and seating elevated looking over the party area that is spacious and beneath the DJ.
The costs were average for drinks. The entry fee was $15 however, however this was because there is a high profile DJ playing. The demographic attending might have been due to the DJ but I’ve been formerly and contains been a youthful techno crowd.
The club was not so busy. The seats were mostly taken but there have been only a number of people around the party area. The truth that it had been the evening before a large music festival might have had something related to this, but I’m not sure. The lesson I’ve learned in Valley clubbing is it is hit or miss which the party begins after 11pm. Any earlier (except for nights with occasions) has a tendency to lead to a clear venue.
The climate is really a nightclub techno feel. The patrons are very well outfitted and searching to bop. There’s an ATM that the gym has, and seating near it and also the toilets. One factor for inside Electric Playground, speaking is tough this can be a spot to dance.
